We are working hard to finalize the playground and skate park designs! If you would like to have input into these, the committee meets every Monday night at 7pm. Email Cheryl for more information and address: cheryla.macleod@gmail.com

Fundraising
Our fundraising efforts have been ongoing and we have raised over $100,000 so far! As you know playgrounds and skate parks cost a lot of money! Let Them Be Kids will match what we raise for equipment - but we still have more to raise! Fundraising letters went home to all families in the school asking for personal donations, and for them to ask their friends, families, companies and contacts. Donations can be made online through PayPal on this website or by mailing or dropping off a cheque to St. Jude School, 730 Woodbine Blvd SW, Calgary, AB, T2W 4W4. We need to have all donations in by May 15th so we can make decisions based on how much money we have raised.

Bottle Drive - April 20th
During the interview stage of the award from Let Them Be Kids, students from St. Jude were interviewed. They were asked how they could help to raise money for the playground. They decided a Bottle Drive would be a great idea. So we are having a bottle drive on Saturday, April 20th around the Woodbine Community. Please save your bottles! Bottles can also be dropped off at the school that day. If you can help to volunteer on that day please contact Laura at craigandlaura@shaw.ca.

Bake Sale - May 12th
Another fundraiser the kids said they could host was a bake sale. We will be having a bake sale at the church on Sunday, May 12th. More information to follow!
